Special Projects & Plans Implemented by Someshwar Foundation
Someshwar Foundation has taken full care, with a broad outlook regarding the educational and overall development of small, young & grown-ups. Some of our projects are an evidence of this fact.
Sports Complex for the youth
a) We have launched Sports Complex for the youths, where State Level Kabbadi and Cricket Tournaments are conducted.
b) ICAAR is started in Kothrud to train the youths in Animation, Video Shooting etc.
c) We also have got Pata Samstha and we impart the knowledge of banking accounts to our students through this Pata Samstha.
Performing Arts & Music
d) "Eklavya Abhyasika" is run by Someshwar Foundation through which Study Room and Study Books are made available free to the students of Xth and XIIth Standards. e) We have also organised Career Counselling Camp under the valuable guidance of Shri. Pradeep Bhide, Mr. Deepak Shikarpur, Mr. Vidyadhar Anaskar & Mr. Avinash Dharmadhikari f) A well-planned Senior Citizen Sitouts are available in the school campus for Senior Citizens of Pashan. Various programmes are implemented for them, like Natraj Mahotsav, Adarsha Mata Purskar Mahotsav etc. Last year, Shri. Raghunath Mashelkar and his mother, Shri. Vijay Bhatkar and his mother along with other 25 ideal mothers from Pashan were felicitated. A Mobile Clinic is also arranged for the senior citizens. g) Someshwar Foundation gives full opportunities to the talents of the youth behind the curtain. To give exposure to the young singer on the stage, Pune Idol Programme was recently organised by the foundation.
Forthcoming Spectra View of Someshwar Foundation
Certain new plans are on the path of successful launching in the forthcoming period. Some of the highlighted future plans are:
a) A plan of one night Camp of our school grand-parents with their grand-children will be organised in the school campus.
b) Through the project “Know Your Surroundings” field excursions will be organised for all the students to impart Environmental Studies.
c) Agricultural Education will be launched with practical field work in the school campus.
d) Introduction of Foreign Languages will be done from Std. Vth
e) Counselling Camps for parents, of all the age group students, will be conducted quarterly.
